This project is an event taking place in Gironde, France. Our creation was chosen to represent a new graphic identity for the Vibrations Urbaines de Pessac 22nd Edition. This project was distributed throughout the city of Bordeaux. For over 20 years (the first edition of the festival dates back to 1997), Vibrations Urbaines has been the region’s leading urban culture festival. The program includes skateboard contests, BMX contests, trot contests, the Pessac Battle Arena (Breakdance Hip Hop), concert evenings, street art performances and exhibitions, a national contemporary urban art competition, a multimedia space and free workshops for 12-25 year-olds. It’s in its history that we’ve created a new identity. We’ve blended some of the urban cultures offered by the event into a single illustration: breakdance, skateboarding, BMX and music. It’s all brought together in a Street Cyberpunk universe, which represents both time and urban culture. Everyone can identify with it.
