/ Project Overview

Lunora is a vegan leather goods brand established as a key player in the world of ethical luxury. Specializing in innovative bucket bags made from cactus leather, Lunora combines luxury with environmental responsibility to offer stylish, durable bags. The name “Lunora” evokes light and mystery, suggesting a deep connection with nature and innovation. The brand emphasizes values of sustainability and luxury, using a unique and innovative material: cactus leather. This material is not only ecological but also of exceptional quality, reinforcing the perception of luxury associated with the brand. Lunora’s visual identity is understated and sophisticated, reflecting the natural elegance of its products. Sleek designs and luminous shades like pearl white or silver enhance this impression of purity and modernity. Natural motifs, subtly integrated, recall the plant-based origin of the raw material. The brand’s voice is confident and elegant, conveying a sense of trust. Innovative and inspiring, Lunora embodies the perfect fusion of style, sustainability, and quality.

/ Challenges

Balancing luxury (premium, exclusive) with sustainability (eco-friendly, cactus leather). Avoiding a “hippie” or “rustic” look that can plague eco-brands. Making cactus leather feel as desirable as traditional luxury leather. Using luminous shades (pearl white, silver) without feeling cold or sterile. Integrating natural motifs subtly so they don’t overpower the sophisticated aesthetic.

/ Objectives

Create a understated, sophisticated visual identity for Lunora. Use a palette of luminous shades: pearl white, silver, maybe soft beige or muted sage. Design sleek, modern layouts that feel pure and luxurious. Incorporate subtle natural motifs (cactus shapes, leaf veins, organic textures) as a quiet nod to the material’s origin. Develop brand messaging that is confident, elegant, and trust-inspiring. Position Lunora as a must-have for consumers seeking both elegance and ecological consciousness.

Creative
Process

Started with core concepts: cactus leather, moonlight, mystery, sustainability, luxury. Researched ethical luxury brands (Stella McCartney, Matt & Nat, Veja) for visual codes. Chose a color palette dominated by pearl white, silver, and soft warm grays, with occasional accents of cactus green or desert sand. Selected a clean, modern sans-serif typography for the logo and body text, paired with a refined serif for a touch of elegance. Designed the logo mark: maybe a crescent moon shape combined with a cactus spine or leaf vein. Created subtle natural motifs as watermarks, embossing patterns, or foil accents on packaging. Developed packaging that feels premium: recycled but high-quality paper, soft-touch finishes, silver foil stamping. Designed the bucket bag presentation: tissue paper with moon-phase patterns, a dust bag in organic cotton with a discreet logo. Applied the identity to a website mockup, lookbook, and social media templates. Tested the balance between “luxury” and “sustainable” through focus groups. Delivered a brand where every cactus leather bag whispers elegance, every detail honors nature, and Lunora becomes the new face of sustainable luxury.
