Gucci chocolates, an indulgent luxury, are made with high-quality ingredients and cacao percentages ranging from 20% to 80%, offering a rich and intense flavor profile. The unique design of these chocolates is executed with meticulous attention to detail, featuring Gucci’s iconic branding and artistic patterns that reflect the brand’s fashion heritage. The chocolate-making process emphasizes both artisanal craftsmanship and innovative design, highlighting the difference in percentage between cacao richness and creative effort invested in each piece. This results in a focus of 20% on flavor and 80% on aesthetic appeal.

Translating Gucci’s fashion heritage (bold, iconic, pattern-driven) into the world of gourmet chocolate. Balancing the 20/80 split between flavor and aesthetics without making the product feel superficial. Ensuring the chocolates taste as luxurious as they look. Creating a design that is unmistakably Gucci while remaining edible and appetizing.

/ Objectives

Develop a visual and product identity where Gucci’s iconic motifs (GG logo, stripes, heritage patterns) are applied to chocolate surfaces. Use cacao percentage (20%-80%) as a design element to differentiate flavor intensity. Emphasize the 80% aesthetic effort through packaging, molding, and presentation. Deliver a chocolate line that feels like a fashion accessory as much as a confection.

Creative
Process

Started with Gucci’s core visual language: bold monograms, green-red-green stripes, floral or geometric patterns. Researched high-end chocolate molding techniques to transfer intricate designs onto chocolate surfaces. Developed a range of cacao percentages (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%) each paired with a distinct Gucci-inspired pattern. Designed packaging that mirrors luxury fashion boxes: rigid structure, ribbon closure, embossed logo. Tested the visual impact of chocolate bars and pralines with stamped Gucci motifs. Balanced the 20% flavor focus by selecting single-origin cacao and natural ingredients. Delivered a final product where every chocolate is a miniature fashion statement: 80% art, 20% taste, 100% Gucci decadence.
