The creation of a brand identity for customizable éclairs begins with a harmonious blend of class and elegance, embodying the exquisite nature of this treat. We imagined a sophisticated logo paired with whimsical illustrations that capture the playful essence of the brand, featuring a charming and elegant éclair character with delicate colors. Exclusive packaging, elegantly designed in themed boxes, allows customers to personalize their choices while reinforcing the brand’s chic image. Each illustration should evoke a sense of delight, inviting customers to experience a delicious journey that reconciles the art of indulgence with a touch of playful charm.

Designing packaging that supports personalization without looking cheap or chaotic. Making each box feel like a unique, luxurious gift while maintaining brand consistency.

Design a sophisticated yet whimsical logo featuring an elegant éclair character. Develop a delicate, refined color palette that feels both classy and sweet. Create themed boxes that allow customers to personalize their éclair selection. Use illustrations that evoke delight, indulgence, and playful charm. Build a brand identity where customization feels luxurious, not overwhelming.

Process

Started with the concept of the round éclair as a canvas for personalization. Researched high-end patisserie branding (Ladurée, Pierre Hermé) for elegance codes, and customizable product brands for personalization systems. Sketched an éclair character with refined features: a subtle smile, elegant posture, maybe a tiny bow tie or pearl necklace to convey class. Chose a delicate color palette: soft champagne pink, warm ivory, pale gold, and a touch of dusty rose or pistachio green for variety. Selected a sophisticated serif or script typography for the logo, paired with a clean sans-serif for customization options. Designed packaging as a system of themed boxes (e.g., Romantic, Garden, Festive, Minimalist), each with its own illustration style but unified by the éclair character and color palette. Added customization elements: stickers, ribbons, or small cards where customers can write names or choose flavors. Created illustrations that show éclairs in elegant settings (tea parties, garden gatherings, chic celebrations) with a whimsical twist. Tested the identity on box mockups, a website configurator, and social media templates. Delivered a brand where every éclair is a small work of art, every box tells a story, and personalization feels like a delightful privilege.
